Tabouqi Restaurant

A restaurant with a bold visual identity that departs from the neutrality common to the sector into a frank colour language built on green, yellow and cream. The floor is laid in a chequerboard tile that gives the space a visual rhythm and stands up to heavy footfall, while the ceiling is left exposed with its services painted red as a declared design element rather than hidden behind a dropped ceiling. A window into the kitchen, framed in broad green, makes preparation part of the customer experience and builds confidence in the place. Seating runs as a continuous bench along the wall to take the largest number within a limited area while keeping the circulation route clear, with a band of graduated tile tying the walls together and breaking up their blank surfaces, and a neon sign carrying the restaurant’s identity working as a visual anchor and a reference point for photographs.
