Private Villa 3
An interior design for a private villa in the Al Malqa district of Riyadh spanning 400 square metres, covering the reception, kitchen, master suite, dressing room and private gym. The project departs from the usual light palette into a warmer, deeper register built on natural wood in darker tones with brass detailing across the shelving and dividers. The reception is composed around a sculptural ceiling installation that gives the space a visual centre of gravity, with curved cream seating and burgundy accents breaking the neutrality of the palette. The dressing room is treated as a space in its own right, with lighting integrated behind the shelves to display the pieces and turn storage into a design element, while the gym is defined by a slatted timber ceiling and focused lighting that set it apart from the calm of the rest of the villa.
