Private Villa 4
An interior design for a private villa in the Al Mahdiyah district of Riyadh spanning 300 square metres, comprising the majlis, formal salon, master suite and coffee corner. The design leans towards a composed formal character built on ivory and beige gradients with dark brown accents in the furnishings that give the space depth and visual weight. The walls are treated with vertical fluted panelling that lifts the sense of height, while sculptural lighting installations sit at the centre of the ceilings as suspended art pieces that define each space in turn. Tables were selected in marble with pronounced veining as a point of contrast against the softness of the surrounding fabrics, and the seating is arranged to separate formal reception from the family areas, delivering a project fit for receiving guests without losing the warmth of a home.
