Oohlay Sweets & Café
A sweets café designed as a direct extension of the brand identity rather than a neutral container for it. The palette rests on a warm sand background threaded with the brand’s violet, appearing in the logo on the wall, in a circular floor inlay beneath the seating area and in the packaging details, recurring in measured doses that fix the brand in the visitor’s mind without excess. The walls are treated in vertical fluted timber panelling with recessed arches that break the straightness of the narrow unit and give it depth, while an upholstered bench runs the length of the wall to raise capacity while keeping the route to the counter clear. The order counter is designed with a curved face and the pastry display at eye level, with rear shelving that acts as a visual backdrop for photographs and turns the product itself into a decorative element.
